アレクシス・ピケ（Alexis PIQUET、1968年生まれ）は、1950年代にジャクソン・ポロックらが推進した「アクション・ペインティング」や「ドロッピング」の流れをくむ抽象表現主義者。彼にとって、描くことは生きるために欠かせない行為です。
荒々しい筆の動きが見えるようなピケの絵は、一見適当に描きなぐったようにしか見えないかもしれません。だが実際は、色彩、画肌、構成などを選び抜き、計算し尽した作品なのです。
