Yves Baudry

Yves BAUDRY, born in 1948, is a man at once scholar, philosopher, poet and painter talented; I found him in a painting beautiful and strong, both music and writing.
He draws his inspiration primarily in nature inexhaustible library, reference graphics, color and rhythm of its sensitivity.

"My work is a search for that total harmony with the universal elements, by daily practice of a long Zen contemplation of the environment: light, powerful friction of heaven on earth on both sides of the line of 'horizon, the dynamic effects of wind on clouds, the subjects sometimes subtle and sumptuous fields and herbs, fiber and bark of trees, the thrill of sand and stone, perfumes major skies of the ocean space and the tremor of the air ".
Yves Baudry claims its impressionist approach and, through a look fragmented, it seeks to sublimate detail.

Yves Baudry uses all the pastels that allow writing painting, gestural, immediate, sensual, intimate graphics and color in the same breath: dry pastels, to oil, wax, watercolor. The oil and acrylic occur sometimes.
